The main objective of "Paths of Life" was to offer artistic reflection on different stages of life and to contribute in a modest way to a certain humanist idea culminating with peace during the annual meeting of The Commission of Human Rights
The official opening of the event was followed by the presentation of a short film entitled "Paths of Life", by Benjamin Troll.
The opening speech was presented by the British ambassador Audrey Glover,C.M.G
Musicians from France and Switzerland performed improvisations, including the premiere recital of Pierre Rescan's classical guitar composition "Jalisco". "Jalisco" is a beautiful flower that grows in the Himalayas.
Following an invitation from Kofi Annan, the exhibition was organised by Geoff Troll , he presented sculptures and paintings and included photos from his friend Bob Clayden, photographer.
This project sought to contribute in a modest way to the annual meeting of The Commission of Human Rights, fostering reflection and dialogue on important humanist themes.
